ABSA Jasiri Awards 2024
In March 2025, Aleit Events brought the ABSA Jasiri Awards to life in Cape Town. The three-day event celebrated African courage, leadership, and achievement through creativity and connection. Each element captured ABSA’s progressive vision and commitment to empowerment across the continent.
The Welcome
Guests arrived at Cape Town International Airport to a warm welcome from the Aleit Events team. They checked into the Southern Sun Cullinan and Waterfront Hotels, where comfort and style met perfectly. From the first moment, hospitality and precision defined the experience.
That evening, the Welcome Dinner at Zeitz’s MOCAA Ocular Terrace set the tone beautifully. Surrounded by art and architecture, guests shared stories while overlooking Cape Town’s glowing skyline. Soft lighting, fine cuisine, and curated entertainment created a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere.
The Business Sessions
The following morning began at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. Inspiring speakers explored innovation, leadership, and Africa’s future. Meanwhile, décor by @acreate_za and florals by @afloral_za elevated the professional setting with warmth and colour. Every session flowed seamlessly thanks to precise coordination and clear direction.
Later, delegates joined creative team-building sessions, designed to strengthen collaboration and unity. Through laughter and learning, genuine connections formed between peers and partners.
The Gala Dinner
That evening, elegance took centre stage at the Norval Foundation. Guests arrived to a transformed venue, filled with light, rhythm, and anticipation. A refined halal menu by @the_velvet_effect paired perfectly with signature cocktails from @thirstbarservices. Live performances by @kolekaputuma, @kiryakutiproject, and @mafikizolo_africa celebrated African artistry.
With @mphopopps as MC, the evening flowed with humour and heart. Every moment captured the essence of African pride and creative power. Thanks to @multimediaza, lighting and sound elevated every performance into a true spectacle.
The Ambassador Experience
The next day, the Ambassador Ceremony began with applause and gratitude. Soon after, guests stepped into vintage cars for a scenic convoy. They travelled along the coastline toward Suikerbossie Restaurant, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. A leisurely lunch followed, filled with laughter, conversation, and shared inspiration. This moment connected luxury, culture, and authenticity in perfect harmony.
The Farewell
To close the journey, guests gathered at Cabo Beach Club for the Farewell Dinner. Waves crashed softly as lights danced across the terrace. Music and conversation filled the air, creating a relaxed coastal finale. It was the perfect end to three days of connection, vision, and celebration.
The Execution
Throughout the event, Aleit Events led with precision and grace.
